Artist's Comments

I've not created one of these digital faces for a while. This one was prompted by a recent flood in my studio, that destroyed three paintings - one of which was a 'mask' image. The original painting was unfinished at the time of the water damage, but I decided to photograph it anyway, and salvage what I could in photoshop.

This is beautiful. It's a shame about the work you've lost.

I am given to lovesickness. The slightest stir of emotion makes me throw up my heart.

Wow, that's really cool. And you weren't discouraged by ruined art...lemonaid out of lemons kind of thing.
All the little details, i love how the whole is made by so many important and unique parts... i wish it were a real mask *sigh* lovely
